Our Vancouver-based Progressive Death Metallers NECK OF THE WOODS have just released yet another bruiser of a single from their upcoming full-length, 'The Passenger'. What's more, it comes with a first-rate music video, which pretty accurately shows you what these guys are all about.
Initially shared by the good dudes at MetalSucks yesterday, this belter of a video can be watched at bottom of this article! You can also listen to 'You'll Always Look The Same To Me' on Spotify, along with previous single 'Bottom Feeder'.
Of the new track, 'Sucks commented:
"their influences come from all over the prog metal spectrum (and beyond), and as such there really is no way to get any more specific. You'll be tempted to compare them to Opeth, Between the Buried and Me, Soilwork and even Every Time I Die... and then there's the guitar solo, which is some straight up, epic Zakk Wylde shit. And that's just on this one track from an album of nine."
'The Passenger' is set for release September 15th via Basick, and is now available to pre-order via Basick Supplies as well as through the band, which is great news for UK/EU fans if you wanted to save a little on shipping! For digital pre-orders, check out the album release page. Whatever you do, though, do not let this album pass you by. Combining elements of death metal, post-metal, technical metal, progressive metal and more, there's plenty to sink those teeth into here.
