In association with PledgeMusic, multi-national Progressive Metal outfit SKYHARBOR are set to launch a brand new campaign this week, in order to fund the mixing and mastering of their as yet untitled sophomore album.
With the album mostly recorded and nearing its tracking completion, the band have enlisted the help of legendary Australian producer Forrester Savell (Karnivool, Animals As Leaders, Dead Letter Circus) in order to bring some finesse to the album’s mix, as SKYHARBOR’s founder Keshav Dhar explains:
“After working so hard on these new songs this last couple of years, we knew that we wanted the album to sound as good as it can possibly can, so we’ve decided to enlist the immense talents of Forrester Savell to mix the album. His work on previous records speaks for itself, so we can’t wait to hear him work his magic on our new album!”
The band also intend to up the creativity level on all fronts, by bringing in more talented individuals:
“We also hope to create a beautiful, epic animated music video for the album, for which we have approached the brilliant animator Jess Cope of Owl House Studios (Steven Wilson, Devin Townsend, Storm Corrosion) to make a very special video with a beautiful story for us.
Just imagining the final products with the touches of genius from these two people on it makes us incredibly excited, and by funding this unique Pledge Project, we sincerely believe that our fans will receive something to be cherished fondly for a very long time.“
Fans can pledge towards this campaign by picking up a wide range of exclusives, such as vocal lessons from the band’s singer Dan Tompkins, signed screen-prints and drum skins, plus night’s out with the band and even having your own song written by the band! All exclusives also come with a free digital copy of the finished album.
